Going to Texas is always high on my list. Especially when I have the chance to go to Beautiful Feet Ministries. The whole group is loving, caring and accepting. From the moment I stepped into their church I felt like I was one of them. I first came seven years ago with some other great friends of mine to play for them. We were asked to come back and play on a CD project that the Worship Leader, Jerry Emerson, was working on. Ever since then I was hooked. I really love working with these people. It is not often, even in ministry, that I see such devotion and commitment. The staff and volunteers of this ministry truly care about people. Beautiful Feet is a homeless ministry. They primarily reach out to people on the street and those who struggle with addicions. Many have found jobs and been reunited with family because of this ministry. It moves me every time I come to true unconditional love coming from these wonderful people. I was here to attend the Annual Worship Conference that Jerry puts on at the "Feet". I love worshiping with Jerry. One reason is that I get to play sax more. I also appreciate Jerry's heart for worship. He really inspires me. Just like any Worship Leader, Jerry wants the songs that he has written to be sung in church across the nation, but he doesn't get caught up in the business of music or in other words the industry of music. To him it is about the worship and only about the worship. I really look up to Jerry in many ways. He is a great husband, father, and a leader of God's people.
In the Picture I am playing for the lunch crowd. I also helped serve lunch and I sang for them and lead them in som worship songs.
